6 September: Lambeth London Living residents take a STAR turn in independent survey

Four and a half thousand Lambeth London Living residents are being invited to take part in a survey that could help shape the future of their housing management service. A random selection of households from across the borough will be given an opportunity to take part in the survey of tenants and residents or STAR this month.

This independent survey to be carried out by MEL research, will poll tenants and leaseholders from Lambeth London Living, United Residents Housing, and Lambeth Tenants Management Organisations to find out what their experience of the housing management service has been. Almost nine thousand residents will be surveyed across these housing organisations.

There will also be a freephone number - 0800 073 0348 - for people taking part in the survey who have any queries or who need advice or assistance to complete it.

The survey will be delivered over a five week period starting later this month, with the result scheduled for publication three months later.

Neil Litherland, Lambeth London Living Interim Chief Executive said: “This survey is a really important way for us to listen to residents. It tells what is going well and what needs to improve. The bigger the response we get the more reliable the results so we urge everyone to respond. When we have the results we will publish them and act on them.”
