10 November 2023 New boss appointed for Lambeth London Living ALMO

Lambeth London Living, the ALMO managing council tenants and leaseholders properties on behalf of Lambeth Council, has appointed a new permanent chief officer. Cathy Deplessis has accepted the Chief Executive post and will take over from interim Chief Executive Pete Redman early in the New Year.

Cathy will join Lambeth London Living after Christmas from another ALMO, Stevenage Homes Ltd, where she is currently Chief Executive. She has an impressive portfolio and will bring a wealth of experience to the organisation, having worked previously as a Head of Resident Services in Ascham Homes (Waltham Forest’s ALMO) and the Audit Commission, where she was a housing inspector.

She says, “Lambeth London Living has been launched in very challenging economic conditions. I welcome the opportunity to lead the company through those challenges by working in partnership with the Board, tenants and leaseholders, staff, the council and other stakeholders to deliver long lasting change and improvement.”

“I am passionate about working with residents. Empowering them to play a major part in what we do will continue to be a key feature of the Lambeth London Living way.”

Asuman Ozkan, Lambeth London Living Chair says, “I am delighted to welcome Cathy to Lambeth London Living. I look forward to working with her to build on the improvements that the organisation has already made, and to working with her to continue driving standards onwards and upwards.”
