Leaseholder task and finish consultation

We recently established a special working group consisting of leaseholders, officers and professional experts to explore leaseholders’ concerns  about major works on estates.

In total, the group met five times between January and April 2014 to discuss the key issues that leaseholders had in relation to major works. These included: perceived poor value for money, lack of contractor monitoring, standard of communications with leaseholders and how works are procured. The group have written a report which identified where  improvements could be made.

We would like your comments on the report (pdf) 294KB and, specifically, on the recommendations* in the report appendices [pdf] 135KB.

All forums start at 7pm with a surgery for individual leaseholder issues from 6pm.

A copy of the report is available at all Area Housing Offices and Hambrook House.
